The one gift worthy of the man who had everything.

Crown Royal had a royal problem: craft whiskey was eating its lunch. To reclaim the throne and its craft cred, my partner and I went digging and unearthed a gem of an origin story. Turns out, Crown began as a gift for King George VI, handcrafted by a small Canadian distillery with big ambitions. Regal, yes, but craft to the core. *My partner Brian Hall and I came up with the line, the concept, and the script… then left Grey, assuming the campaign was dead in the water. (Spoiler: it wasn’t.)
