Crown Royal had a royal problem: craft whiskey was taking the crown. To win it back, we searched the brand’s history and uncovered its founding myth. Crown Royal was originally handcrafted as a gift for King George VI by a small Canadian distillery with big ambitions. A royal gesture built on craft from day one.

*My partner Brian Hall and I created the line, concept, and script… then left Grey assuming it would never see the light of day. (It did.)
